Tears in my Eyes
The three stories in this tiny volume are taken from explorations into the careers and life activities of certain ancestors of mine. Joseph and Eliza Taylor were brother and sister. They migrated from London to Sydney in the18390s and 1840s. Maude Rogers, who married into the Wright family, was Eliza's daughter. The Wrights migrated from London to Adelaide in the1850s. In researching these peoples' lives I encountered many false leads along with a number of wonderful revelations. Some of the findings affected me emotionally more than others. The three stories here are examples of 'aha's' that literally brought tears to my eyes.
I'm happy to share them and hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did in writing them..
